Do you have an ongoing health problem like arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, or lung disease? Does it stop you from doing the things you enjoy? Learn what you can do to feel better and take control of your health! This self-management education workshop originally developed at Stanford University Patient Education Research Center and approved by the CDC, can help with a variety of chronic or ongoing health problems like arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease. It can help you learn ways to reduce symptoms like pain and fatigue, get around more easily, and do more things on your own ~ improving your quality of life!FREE; light refreshments will be provided during class. All graduates will receive the very popular book "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" (a valuable resource for each participant as they travel on the path to better health and towards an improved quality of living).
