During this session, Richard Stup, Cornell’s Agricultural Workforce Development Specialist, will discuss the major changes in effect, and how farms can adapt their businesses for success. This course will cover the following topics: • Compliance with Wage and Hour Laws: Overtime and Day-of-Rest Requirements • Understanding Unions and Labor Organizing • Managing the Collective Bargaining Process (limited coverage of this) • Insurance Update: Disability, Paid Family Leave, and Employment PracticesLiability, What is Available? Lunch provided with registration!
