Tracking the Spotted Lanternfly

Registration is closed for this event
Participants will gain knowledge that can be used to help mitigate the effects of emerging Spotted Lanternfly in our area and will then have the tools to work together as a community to address invasive species as they arrive and to develop strategies to contain those already present. Dan Snider from the Catskill Center will then give an overview and demonstration of the iMapInvasive app and website. There will be a presentation on specifics of the Spotted Lanternfly and how to recognize and use eradication techniques for all of its life cycle stages. Also, a discussion about the next steps and how participants can begin scouting in their own areas and networking and sharing info with others.

Thank you for your interest in the Tracking the Spotted Lantern Fly program!

Registration and non-refundable payment are required to participate.  Additional donations are always appreciated to help CCESC continue to deliver research-based educational opportunities to the farmers, families, and young people of Sullivan County.
