Powerful Tools For Caregivers classes is an evidence-based disease prevention and health promotion program per the Administration on Aging and received a 2007 National Family Caregiving Award. Family caregivers, by taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver. Six class sessions are held once a week led by experienced class leaders Bonnie Lewis and Liliam Stettner. Class participants will have access to The Caregiver Helpbook and additional caregiver resources. The class will give you tools to help: o Reduce Stress o Improve Self-Confidence o Manage Time, Set Goals, and Solve Problems o Better Communicate Their Feelings o Locate Helpful Resources o Make Tough Decisions

Registration and non-refundable payment are required to participate.  Additional donations are always appreciated to help CCESC continue to deliver research-based educational opportunities to the farmers, families, and young people of Sullivan County.
