Writing A Farm Food Safety Plan Webinar

Registration is closed for this event
Participants will learn how to write a Farm Food Safety plan and will receive resources available through FSMA. The Produce Safety Rule establishes mandatory science-based, minimum standards for the safe growing, harvesting, packing, and holding of fruits and vegetables grown for human consumption. These standards are designed to work effectively for food safety across the wide diversity of produce farms. Writing a plan helps growers get organized and focused on produce safety, as well as prepare for buyer requirements and third-party audits. This webinar focuses on writing a produce safety plan for your farm. This plan will help you to create standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and record-keeping strategies that will help you to fulfill the reporting requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule. This program is supported by the USDA, NIFA Award #: 2019-70020-30347
